Round dishcloths . . . and the pattern!

So, on this snowy afternoon, after attempting to work from home (quite unsuccessfully, I might add), I decided to bust out the crochet hooks and make some easy dishcloths. They are just a basic circle. For some reason, I really like round dishcloths. A lot. Like this one.

And this one:

Anyway, a friend of mine asked for the pattern, so I thought I would post it here. These are made with DK weight yarn, Omega's Sinfonia, which is a mercerized cotton. They are just as absorbent as the ones made with kitchen cotton, but I find this yarn holds its color better, and I like the lighter weight. Mine measure about 7 inches across when finished. If you use worsted weight, they will be bigger.

I also crochet a little on the loose side (I usually have to go down a hook size or two to make gauge for patterns). So keep those things in mind when you are choosing your own yarn and hook. The pattern below calls for the yarn weight and hook size I used for these, but please adapt to your wants, needs, and crochet style.
